The Vehicle Mounted lift truck operator training course (often referred to as a Moffett), will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use
inspection and recall and explain the causes of truck and load instability. Candidates will also learn how to attach and detach the truck to and from a carrying vehicle safely.
The Multi-Directional training course (often referred to as a combilift or 4-way steer), will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall and discuss the causes of truck and load instability.
The Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) lift truck operator course will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection, and recall and explain the causes of truck and load instability. There are two categories of VNA truck – man-up and man-down. The completion of the man-up operator course will equip you to operate both machine types.
Order picker trucks have the capacity to work at various heights, categorised as low (referred to as a LLOP), medium and high. A training course is available for each category but completion of the high level order picker course will equip you to operate all three categories.
The Sideloader operator training course will give you the skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently, carry out a pre-use inspection and recall and explain the causes of truck and load instability.
IPAF offers three harness courses to meet the needs of different candidates;

Anyone who will be loading or unloading heavy plant machinery including MEWPS, dumpers, excavators, telehandlers etc.
The IPAF Demonstrator course is suitable for anyone that needs to demonstrate or handover a MEWP to a third party.
MEWPs for Managers is aimed at those who plan, supervise or manage work at height with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).
